The Birth and Growth of Pop Art in Europe and the USA

As well as a chance to sneak into a 1950s-style private club in Covent Garden, this talk is a look at the roots of pop art, and will explain how the style was born from postwar Europe as a response to dramatic social changes both at home and overseas.
