On Saturday June 13 wild things all across the UK will be roaring their terrible roars, gnashing their terrible teeth, rolling their terrible eyes and showing their terrible claws. This nationwide read-along of Maurice Sendak's family favourite 'Where the Wild Things Are' is taking place in villages, towns, woodlands, libraries and galleries. Londoners who want to get involved can turn up at The Unicorn Theatre (costumes welcome) for the flagship event or look online to find other Rumpuses in the capital.
