The Big Draw: The Houses of Parliament

Following a 75-minute guided tour of Parliament (geared towards family audiences) participants will work with artist Rachel Gadsden to create interpretations of four mosaics, representing each country in the UK, on display in the central lobby. Each artwork will be photocopied and incorporated through painting and collage into four contemporary versions of the original mosaics. Special tactile materials, which Rachel Gadsden uses in her own work, are available for those with visual impairments. Tickets for the tour must be booked in advance online or by telephone; there is no extra charge for the Big Draw activities.
