This bi-monthly supper club takes its menu inspiration from artists and art movements, collaborating with chefs to present unique dining experiences. Previous muses have included Louise Bourgeois, Salvador Dali and David Lynch. August's event is inspired by the Cuban/American performance artist, sculptor and painter Ana Mendieta. At the age of 12 Mendieta was sent away from her native country to an orphanage in Iowa and subsequently dedicated her life to searching for her origins and identity. Chef and artist Justin Horne has devised a Cuban-inspired menu, including achiote chicken and sea bass and an expressionist Cuban desert. Tickets can be booked online and include a welcome drink (it’s BYOB after that) and a three-course meal.
