For three decades The Calthorpe Project has been providing its local community with a chance to socialise, exercise and hone their horticultural skills. That's an awfully long time, which is why those involved in the project are celebrating the fact with a day of festivities. At midday visitors will be treated to a procession of African drummers led by percussion legend Lord Eric Sugumugu, as well as the Pearly King and Prince of Finsbury. Then, throughout the day, there will be fresh food, live entertainment and workshops on offer.
