HOW TO ENTER

This competition is organised by Tourism Ireland (“Tourism Ireland”). We want you to answer the multiple choice question correctly to be in with a chance of winning (the “Entry”). Submit your Entry by filling out the entry form found at www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/win-a-weekend-break-for-two-to-belfast between 12.15 am on September 6 and 11.45pm on November 30 2016 for your chance to be selected to win (the “Competition”).

The Competition is only to be entered by individuals who are 18 years old or over. By entering this Competition, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age and accept our Terms and Conditions as set out below. If you are under 18 or do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you must leave this website immediately.

HOW IT WORKS

Complete your Entry by answering the multiple choice question correctly. The correct answers will be entered into a random ballot from which the winner will be drawn.

GENERAL COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Competition begins at 12.15am on September 06 2016 (the “Start Date”). The Competition closes at 11:45pm on November 30 2016 (the “End Date”).

2. The Competition is open to all UK residents over the age of 18. Employees of Time Out, Tourism Ireland, their agents, contractors and their family members, or any third party related to the administration of the Competition, are not eligible to enter the Competition.

3. Multiple entries will not be accepted.

4. By uploading your Entry, you understand that you are entering the Competition and agree to these Competition rules (the “Rules”). Time Out reserves the right to exclude any Entry from the Competition at any time if they have a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

5. Copyright in all Entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an Entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their Entry. This includes sharing the Entry through social media and publication by Time Out worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.

6. The Winner and the Runners Up will be notified by Time Out by telephone or email on or before Friday 02 December 2016 (the “Date of Notification”).

7.  The Winner and Runners Up will be selected at random from a ballot which comprises all the correct answers.

8. The prize package for the Winner includes the following (the “Prize Package”):

i. Return air travel for two people (Winner and one guest);
ii. Travel schedule to be discussed with prizewinner – return flights on a direct route from mainland Britain to Belfast City or International airport – Economy Class including pre-booked seat and travel with Hand Luggage. Valid Photo ID/Passport required at check-in. Exact ID requirements outlined at time of booking. Airline terms and conditions apply;
iii. Transfers - Return transfer between Belfast City or International airport and hotel;
iv. Accommodation – Two nights for two people at the Dunadry Hotel (subject to availability). Four star, approximately 20 minutes from Belfast’s city centre. Room type is classic double or twin.
v. Meal plan - Full breakfast for two people each morning;
vi. Activity – Champagne Afternoon Tea at Titanic Centre – only available on Sundays and does not include entrance into the Titanic Exhibition or other attractions. The Winner’s prize must be taken before 30 June 2017.

9.  The Winner and winner’s guest must be aged 18 and over.

10. All Entries must be submitted by the original writer of the Entry.

11. The Winner and winners guest may be required to participate in publicity which may include having his/her photograph taken for promotional and press purposes for Time Out and/or Tourism Ireland.

12. All Entries considered inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified.

13. The Prize Package will be provided by Tourism Ireland.

14. The Winner will be notified using the contact information submitted when uploading their Entry. The Winner may be asked to provide identification. Any Winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within five working days of notification after reasonable efforts have been made to contact them will be disqualified and will forfeit their right to the prize; no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected as an alternative Winner.

15. The name of the Winner may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the Winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 4th Floor 125 Shaftesbury Avenue, WC2H 8AD London or by email to competitions@timeout.com by 30 December 2016.

16. Time Out’s selection of the Winner is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

17. The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.

18. Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.

19. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Time Out and Tourism Ireland reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package for an alternative of equal or greater value. 

20. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and/or Tourism Ireland and which prevents Time Out and/or Tourism Ireland from complying with these terms and conditions, neither Time Out nor Tourism Ireland will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control. 

21. This Competition and the Rules shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

22. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition.

23. The Competition promoter is Time Out England Limited of 4th Floor 125 Shaftesbury Avenue, WC2H 8AD London and all references to Time Out shall mean Time Out England Limited. Time Out shall have the right to license all and any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees. 

Specific Terms & Conditions - Tourism Ireland

24. Prize subject to availability and excludes UK & Irish Bank Holiday Periods and when special events are taking place (e.g. Rugby Internationals in Dublin, TT Racing in Northern Ireland – see below) – a date by which travel must be completed will be confirmed on Prize Confirmation Letter.

25. Prizewinner must claim prize within 28 days of notification.

26. At least **60 days notice required for arrangement to be put in place – choice of two dates to be provided.

27. Valid Passport/Photo ID required for travel.

28. Flights: travel by air includes return flights on a direct route from a convenient airport on mainland Britain to a named airport in Ireland - budget class including one checked-in bag per person and seat allocation subject to restrictions and no changes permitted – unless otherwise specified. Fees for any changes requested by the prizewinner after the booking has been completed are not covered in the prize arrangement and must be paid for in advance by the prizewinner.

29. Carrier Terms and Conditions apply –prizewinner’s mobile no. is supplied to carrier during reservation process. Meals on flights not covered. Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.

30. Prizewinner and guest(s) must travel on same itinerary.

31. Accommodation based on two sharing twin or double room.

32. Prize transferable at the discretion of Tourism Ireland.

33.  Prize not redeemable for cash, exchangeable for any other service or cash offered in lieu of unused elements of the prize.

34. No Show or cancelling the arrangement invalidates the prize.

35. Any changes made after the arrangement has been confirmed will be at the expense of the prizewinner. Flight Tickets are non-refundable for cancellation and variable change fees apply which must be paid by the prizewinner.

36. Travel Insurance not included.

37. Prize is as described and arranged as one package – elements of the arrangement cannot used separately or individually (e.g. using flights for one date and accommodation for another).23. The Autumn fixtures may impact on accommodation availability in the Dublin area.

Other events such as concerts, conferences, major race meetings, Heineken Cup matches may impact on the accommodation in an area, which is always subject to availability.
