HOW TO ENTER
This competition is organised by Time Out England Limited, company number 01782049 with registered offices at 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London, WC2B 5QR (“Time Out”) in association with Transport for London, Address: 5 Endeavour Square, London, E20 1JN (“TfL”) and Nick Deyong Limited, company number: 2997986 with registered offices at Regina House 124 Finchley Road London NW3 5JS (“Prize Provider” and together with Time Out and TfL, the “Promoters”). We want you to enter by following Time Out London on Instagram or Twitter and sharing a photo showing how you’re rediscovering London using the campaign hashtag #LetsWinLondon and tagging @transportforlondon and @timeoutlondon to be in with a chance of winning (the “Entry”). Submit your Entry on Instagram or Twitter (the “Post”) between 20 July 2021 and 19 August 2021 for your chance to be selected to win eight (8) pairs of tickets to cultural events taking place in the UK in 2021 and 2022 (the “Competition”).
HOW IT WORKS
Complete your Entry by following Time Out London on Instagram or Twitter and sharing a photo on either Instagram or Twitter and tagging @transportforlondon and @timeoutlondon showing how you’re rediscovering London using the campaign hashtag #LetsWinLondon. Entries will be subject to the additional criteria set out in the Specific Terms and Conditions below, and the winner will then be selected at random.
GENERAL COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The Competition begins at 12.15am on 20 July 2021 (the “Start Date”). The Competition closes at 11:45pm on 19 August 2021 (the “End Date”).
2. The Competition is open to all UK residents over the age of 18, except employees of Time Out, TfL and the Prize Provider, and any of their respective agents, contractors and their family members.
3. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
4. By uploading your Entry, you understand that you are entering the Competition and agree to these Competition rules (the “Rules”). Time Out reserves the right to exclude any Entry from the Competition at any time if they have a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
5. Copyright in all Entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an Entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out and TfL a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their Entry. This includes sharing the Entry through social media and publication by Time Out and TfL worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.
6. The winner will be notified by the Promoters by direct message on Instagram or Twitter within 5 days of the End Date.
7. The winner will be selected at random from all Entries. TfL reserves the right not to feature the winning Entry on its social wall (if for example TfL considers in its sole discretion that the winning Entry may be contrary to TfL’s policies, brand image and/or guidelines).
8. The prize package includes eight (8) pairs of tickets to cultural events taking place in the UK in 2021 and 2022 including:
- September 2x three day pass to Wireless at Crystal Palace Park;
- October 2x tickets to Romeo & Juliet at Shakespeare’s Globe;
- November 2x tickets to Kew at Christmas including dinner;
- December 2x tickets to A Christmas Carol at the Old Vick;
- January 2x tickets to Van Gogh: The Immersive experience at Spitalfields;
- February 2x tickets to Cirque du Soleil Luzia at the Royal Albert Hall;
- March 2x tickets to Moulin Rouge at the Piccadilly Theatre; and
- April 2x tickets to Chaos Karts at Bethnal Green,
the full details of which will be disclosed to the winner at a later date (the “Prize Package”).
9. All Entries must be submitted by the original writer of the Entry.
10. The winner may be required to participate in publicity which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.
11. All Entries considered inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified.
12. The Prize Package will be provided by Nick Deyong Limited and is subject to their terms and conditions available at [https://www.ndlgroup.com/privacy-policy]
13. The winner will be notified using the contact information submitted when uploading their Entry. The winner may be asked to provide identification. Any winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within 72 hours of notification will be disqualified, they thereby forfeit their right to the prize, no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected as an alternative winner.
14. The winner(s) details may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London, WC2B 5QR or by email to competitions@timeout.com by 3rd September 2021. Any winners details shared will be limited to surname and country only, in accordance with ASA guidelines on UK data protection laws and EU General Data Protection Regulations.
15. Time Out’s selection of the winner is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
16. The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
17. Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
18. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including (but not limited to) situations where events have been postponed or cancelled as a result of circumstances outside the control of Time Out and/or the Prize Provider such as Covid-19, Time Out and the Prize Provider reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package or any element of it for an alternative of equal or greater value.
19. Time Out accepts no responsibility if the Prize Provider refuses to issue the prize.
20. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and/or the Prize Provider and which prevents Time Out and/or the Prize Provider from complying with the Rules, neither Time Out or the Prize Provider will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
21. This Competition and the Rules shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
22. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition.
23. The Competition promoters are Time Out, TfL and the Prize Provider. Time Out shall have the right to license all and any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees.
SPECIFIC PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Any entries containing the following behaviour will not be counted as a valid entry:
- Antisocial behaviour (including but not limited to excessive consumption of alcohol, littering, hanging from the railings, eating, no ‘V’ signs)
- Violations of covid restrictions (e.g., not wearing a face mask, not observing social distancing)
- Pets on the seats of TfL network
- Pets not on a lead on TfL network
- Pets not being carried on escalators on TfL network
- Images that make the TfL network look unclean (e.g., graffiti, litter, etc)
- Images containing scenes or acts which are illegal and/or contrary to government regulations including but not limited to Covid-19 regulations.
