Blackheath's Conservatoire has fundraised successfully to stave off the threat of closure it faced and is now launching a new series of free talks and workshops about creativity and early childhood development. There are two strands to the event: the first is a talk by early years specialist Ruth Churchill Dower at 11am, who will reveal how the home learning environment and creativity can help develop crucial neural connections in the infant brain. Three taster sessions for parents and children in early years music, art and drama take place at 9.30am, 11am and 1.30pm.
Places for both the lecture and taster sessions are free but space is limited. Places can be pre-booked via info@conservatoire.org.uk or on 020 8852 0234.
