Tapestry Weaving Workshop

Not many people have a tapestry frame in their craft box. If the lack of one has been holding you back, this one-day tapestry workshop is your chance to decide whether it's exactly what's missing from your life. Working among the 'Fleece and Fibre: The Making of the Large Tree Group Tapestry' exhibition, students will be taught how to weave using woollen threads, making subtle transitions in colour and hatching yarns together to create shapes within their work. Pre-warped (that means they're ready to go) tapestry frames will be supplied and will be available to buy at the end of the day. Book in advance.
