This day of talks from prominent speakers looks at the way the London bus has helped to change the way the world works. Our red double-deckers may not seem like much more than a very slow means of getting home at times, but they've helped with events of historical importance such as female emancipation, World War One and decorating postcards the world over. Tickets to the conference include entrance to the London Transport Museum and its current exhibition, Goodbye Piccadilly: From the Home Front to the Western Front.
