Sunday Strolls: So you want to go to Columbia Road?

Columbia Road. Home to the famous Sunday Flower Market, and now the location of a guided tour, thanks to Brick Lane Bookshop. On two Sundays in August, you can tag along for a stroll, following a less well-trodden path which will reveal some hidden pockets of history in this bustling spot. Hosted by East End writer Alan Gilbey, these 90-minute walks will begin at Brick Lane Bookshop, from which you'll amble past street art, statues and maybe even meet a couple of characters. An idyllic way to get some fresh air and soak up some history on a summer Sunday.
