Stompin' at the Savoy

No, that's not a typo. Tickets for this New Year's Eve bash at the Savoy really do cost a grand. For that eye-popping amount you can expect the champagne to keep popping at a reception, followed by a four-course dinner in the Lancaster Ballroom with entertainment from the Guy Barker Orchestra and guests including Beverley Knight, Tony Christie, Paloma Faith and Buddy Greco, hosted by Patrick Kielty (broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 between 10.30pm and 12.30am). There's a champagne toast at midnight while watching the fireworks over the Thames. Room packages are available.
