You'll need thick skin and even thicker jumpers to take part in West London Churches Homeless Concern’s second sleep out. Last year the charity, and 173 sleepers, raised £125,000 which enabled WLCHC to open a second night shelter in Hammersmith and Fulham, alongside their existing Kensington and Chelsea shelter. They are hoping to exceed that target this year with the help of even more Londoners who are willing swap their mattress for cardboard and their duvets for sleeping bags and bed down on the pavement at Duke of York Square.
