Space Children: George Clinton and Nona Hendryx

A screening of John Akomfrah's documentary 'The Last Angel of History' (2pm), which looks at the relationships between pan-African culture, music, science fiction, intergalactic travel and computer technology, followed by a talk by the funk legend George Clinton (who features in Akomfrah's film). Clinton discusses 'all things galactic in his career' and is joined by Labelle singer Nona Hendryx; the event also includes a film featuring Janelle Monáe.
