Set to be the largest poetry festival ever staged in the UK, the Southbank Centre's Poetry Parnassus brings together poets from all the nations competing in the London 2012 Olympic Games and includes readings, workshops and a gala finale event. Each poet will contribute a poem in their own language to a book, 'The World Record'. Until Jul 22 2011, members of the public can nominate their favourite poet via http://ticketing.southbankcentre.co.uk/about-us/discover-and-do/poetry-parnassus
