We never forget the books that made our childhood magical, and this children’s literature festival celebrates much-loved titles by authors from all over the world. A line-up of more than 40 workshops, talks, screenings, music, theatre and signings will feature guests such as Quentin Blake, Tony Ross, Michael Rosen, Axel Scheffler, Gabby Dawnay, Alex Barrow as well as many rising stars. This year there's an emphasis on multilingualism and translation, with 20 British and French publishers in attendance, and the festival will once again include ‘Impro!’, a live drawing and jazz trumpet improvisation. Booking essential for ticketed events. Suitable for ages 3-15, with most events suitable for ages 5-8.
