Curzon Soho turns 60 this month – making it eligible for a bus pass – and to celebrate, the much-loved Shaftesbury Avenue picture palace once known as The Columbia is hosting some special screenings. In the spirit of synchronicity, it all kicks off with ‘Gigi’, the first film to be shown at the cinema, back in February 1959. Its star, Leslie Caron, who will be there to introduce it and it’s only a fiver for Curzon members.
