Time Out says

On Friday November 11, Silence in the Square is an opportunity to mark the two-minute silence for Armistice Day collectively in Trafalgar Square. There will be music beforehand and afterwards members of the public are invited to join a symbolic act of remembrance by putting poppy petals in the Trafalgar Square fountains.

This year's Remembrance Sunday ceremony and wreath-laying at The Cenotaph takes place on November 13.
