Ignore the name: for some reason, none of the three escape games that Sherlock Unlock have thus far created have anything whatsoever to do with the Deerstalker-wearing detective. The missions you have to crack within an hour to escape from a locked room instead include a pirate-based one, another themed around a global pandemic and some kind of caper based on a knot in the space/time continuum. They’re quite far behind some of the more interesting escape games currently operating in London in terms of inventiveness of puzzles, cool gadgets, flashy theming, etc, but if you’re a beginner player who has no expectation of what escape games involve, this should offer a fairly straightforward and relatively enjoyable introduction to the genre.
