The culmination of an international artist exchange project, this exhibition features UK artists Thurle Wright and Steven Follen, who spent two months in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Ahmedabad, India, and Bangladeshi artists Tarun Ghosh and Tapan Das, and Indian designer Lokesh Ghai, who spent three months at the Harley Gallery, Nottinghamshire and the V&A Museum of Childhood. Work by the UK artists is inspired by their time with local artists and craftspeople. The South Asian artists have focused on objects in the collection such as peep shows, toy theatres, concertina books, dolls and nursery clothing. On show are paintings, textiles, paper constructions and metalwork. Also featured is work created by the artists working with children from local schools.
