Screenwriter Lecture Series

The BFI and BAFTA have lined up a trio of screenwriting bigwigs for a lecture series celebrating the contribution writers make to the world of film. The audience will be treated to insights from behind-the-scenes of the film industry and stories from the speakers' careers. Writer and producer James Schamus has worked on 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', 'Brokeback Mountain' and 'Lost in Translation' and will kick off the series on September 18. September 20 will star writer and actress Emma Thompson, while writer and director Steven Knight ('Dirty Pretty Things', 'Peaky Blinders', 'Locke') takes centre stage on September 29. Book in advance.
