Organised by Olympic silver medallist and former 110m hurdles world champion Colin Jackson, this 5k run for men and boys is a fundraiser for Prostate Cancer UK. The charity is working to develop a risk calculator to enable better detection of the disease, as there is currently no straightforward test. Since its inaugural event in 2013 Go Dad Run has doubled in size and there are six events across the UK this June. The London one takes place on Father’s Day at Southwalk Park and is open to men and boys aged 11+. Sisters, mothers, wives and daughters are invited to cheer their menfolk on.
