Tired of Easter eggs? Then this event at Bart's Pathology Museum should do the trick. Conflating those two Easter staples – religion and sweet things to eat – 'Sacred Tarts' is a pop-up cake shop featuring imaginative bakers and experimental food makers including The Robin Collective, Mama Jamma Cakes and Tattoo Cakes, all of whom have come up with some pretty exciting alternatives to the chocolate egg. Visitors can expect to find stigmata cookies, crystal sugar crowns of thorns, butterscotch crucifixes and edible popes among the delicacies for sale at an event that's keen to explore the darker side of religious art and symbolism.
