Pesto arrived in the UK 25 years ago and us Brits have been slathering the basil-based delight on our pasta ever since. Italian producer Sacla' who now have a wide range of flavours to jazz up bowls of penne are celebrating the anniversary by creating a pop-up fishing village inspired by the flavours of the Liguria region and the home of pesto. Visitors can enjoy meals in the Sacla' Trattoria, take part in pesto masterclasses with chef Theo Randall and have the chance to meet other famous foodies including Anna del Conte and Aldo Zilli. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance via the Sacla' website.
