The Royal Parks are hosting three harvest festivals on different weekends this September.
The fun begins in Regent's Park, with Tshirt recycling that turns your old tops into shopping bags, a hunt round the garden, paper pot-making tutorial and pizza, salads, cakes and freshly pressed apple juice, all made using produce from the allotment.
The following weekend in Kensington Gardens, Millers Ark Petting Farm sends critters to meet visitors, the park's shire horses stop by, and there's a workshop making apple bird feeders and digging up the potato crop.
The last but not least, Greenwich Park Harvest Festival in the Queen's Orchard provides talks from experts on bees, candlemaking and honey-tasting events, and pond-dipping for little ones.
