On Sunday 30 April 1978, 80,000 people gathered in Trafalgar Square and danced their way to Victoria Park for first 'Rock Against Racism Carnival Against the Nazis'. This special event marks the 40th anniversary of the gig. Join a guided tour of the Migration Museum's 'No Turning Back: Seven Migration Moments' exhibition, which features original Rock Against Racism artefacts, watch films and hear speakers and discussions exploring what RAR achieved, how the movement grew and spread across the UK, its legacy and the forces of cultural resistance today. The event is free, but it is best to register in advance here.
