Robert Louis Stevenson's The Body Snatcher

To mark the 130th anniversary of Robert Louis Stevenson's short story 'Body Snatcher', author Dr Ruth Richardson will be digging a little deeper to uncover the story behind the story, commissioned by the Pall Mall Gazette for its special Christmas edition back in 1884. A full reading of the haunting work, deemed too disturbing for publication by the author himself, will take place after the talk in the Georgian operating theatre housed high up in the attic of St Thomas Church. If you can keep them down after harrowing tales of beastly bodysnatchers, mince pies and refreshments will be served.
