With more than 700 authentic artefacts and interactive exhibits spanning six floors, this enjoyable London attraction celebrates the weird, wonderful and bizarre in all its forms – prime examples being a portrait of Michael Jackson constructed from Liquorice Allsorts, a four-metre long model of Tower Bridge made out of matchsticks, and a collection of paintings by Mexican artist Enrique Ramos on rice grains, a tortilla, pumpkin seeds and quail egg shells.
New for 2013, the Legends gallery houses 31 Olympic torches, including the London 2012 Games one, signed by track cyclist Laura Trott. Interactive elements include the largest mirror maze in London and a new laser race, while fans of the ghoulish will surely love the fine collection of shrunken heads.
