Head to the beloved Sipsmith Martini Express in Covent Garden from November 7 to December 3 (daily except Monday, noon-10pm) for a celebration of all things in gin and martini.  During the day you can visit the bus, resplendent on the east side of the Piazza, with an array of those delicious gin-infused winter warmers are on offer. As night falls, join Sipsmith’s Martini Masterclass (from £35) for a festive gin experience like no other. Secure your spot through the Sipsmith website to experience a personalised Martini Masterclass. You’ll be invited to take a quiz online before you arrive, which will help Sipsmith to craft your personalised martini, to be served once you board the bus. Once on the bus, you’ll sip your tailor-made tipple, admiring glittering lights over Covent Garden as you learn the secrets to a perfect martini. Not only that, but there'll be a bespoke Covent Garden martini, too. Does the festive season get much better than that?

Snuggling up on Soho rooftops gazing down at the Christmas lights, sipping the fruits of the labour of the pioneers of the craft gin renaissance more your thing? Head to Sipsmith's Winter Martini Garden on upmarket hotel Ham Yard’s gorgeous gem of a roof terrace. Cosy up with a tartan blanket, hot water bottle and your choice of hot cocktail, including ‘The Barkeeper’s Martini’, which is finished with a puff of smoke from a bee smoker. Prefer a classic? Simply order a cold martini served from an elegant drinks trolley. Tickets are £22 and include a ‘Paloma-tini’ on arrival, made with Sipsmith London Dry Gin, Suze and housemade grapefruit and thyme syrup. You’ll also be invited to take an online quiz to find your perfect, personalised martini. 

If you really want to up the gift-giving stakes and earn undying affection from your loved ones, treat them to a gin-tasting or festive masterclass at the beautiful Sipsmith distillery in Chiswick, West London.
