Queer Homes

A roundtable discussion about the meanings and practicalities of home-making in the LGBT community, past and present. Joining the talk will be a handful of academics, including UCL's architectural historian Brent Pilkey, Alison Oram from Leeds Metropolitan University will talk about the knowledge of same-sex love in historic houses, Glasgow Uni's lesbian identity in post-war Britain researcher Amy Murphy and Birkbeck's Matt Cook, who will discuss the relation between gay men's lives and domestic space in the twentieth century.
