What is it?
Primrose Hill, on the north side of Regent's Park, commands one of the most iconic views over London. It's a popular picnic and kite-flying spot. The surrounding area of the same name is just as attractive as the celebrities who frequent the gastropubs and quaint cafés along Regent's Park Road and Gloucester Avenue.
Why go?
The summit is the perfect place to catch the sunset – or if you’re an early riser, the sunrise. The hill stands 63 metres above sea level and has six viewpoints looking out into the city’s skyline. On a clear day, you’ll be able to see The London Eye, The Shard and The BT Tower all in eyeshot.
Don’t miss:
Primrose Hill is a firm favourite among the rich and famous. In the 90s, it became so popular that a group of celebrities, including Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Liam and Noel Gallagher and Jude Lw became known as the Primrose Hill Set. Lots of them are still around, so keep your eyes peeled. Who knows who you might see?
