To make sense of our lives, we turn them into a narrative – which means that every single human is a storyteller. But telling the story isn’t enough: we also need someone to be listening. Drawing on 25 years of practical experience, psychoanalyst Stephen Grosz uses this insight to discuss the emotion behind peculiar behaviour in the last talk in a series run by the University of Westminster’s Department of Psychology. Doors open at 6.30pm for a prompt 6.45pm start, and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
