Picturehouse’s 1980s Movie Mix

This month, Picturehouse cinemas will be drenching themselves in neon and putting on their most empowering shoulder pads for a month-and-a-bit of great ’80s movies. Embracing everything that heady decade has to offer, from the scuzz of Paul Schader’s ‘Hardcore’ to the swooning romance of ‘Moonstruck’, via ‘Predator’, ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’, ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ and a few other classics, it’s a time machine back to an era when the only thing bigger than the hair were the grenade launchers. It runs from July 19 to August 30, with tickets priced £8.
