Haircuts in London can be seeeeeriously spenny. Not so at the Hairy Harvest, a London Fields pop-up hosted by male grooming brand OnePhilips, where green-fingered gardening enthusiasts can get their facial hair trimmed, edged or shaved on the house by a professional barber free of charge. Now here’s where it gets a little bit weird. Alongside fixing up ahead of the bank holiday, visitors will also get a chance to learn about how nutrient-rich body hair can be, erm, repurposed as a brilliant plant fertiliser. Yeah, really; the pop-up also features four home-grown veggie patches where tomatoes, cabbage are growing in abundance, with the help of soil fertilised by bear trimmings, chest hair and...pubes! Plus, visitors can get their hands on loads more free goodies, from gardening seeds to shaving products. Forget Chelsea Flower Show...this is surely the most gasp-worthy gardening expo you can visit this weekend!
