Phenomenal People, Extraordinary Journeys

In celebration of International Women's Day, Intrepid Explorers take over the Ondaatje Theatre to find out what extremes researchers go to when they're out in the field. They will also be discussing gender issues in relation to scientific fieldwork. Guest speakers such as polar explorer Felicity Aston MBE and the première of the 'eXXpedition Atlantic' documentary, telling the fascinating story of an all-female research team, are among the highlights.
