This year, Richmond Theatre's pantomime will again have a 'relaxed' performance for anyone with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, a learning disability or who would otherwise benefit. Starring Henry Winkler as Captain Cook, the slightly adapted show will be performed with a more relaxed attitude to noise in the auditorium, so as to reduce anxiety and ensure a safe and enjoyable visit, and there will be a designated ‘chill-out’ area during the performance. Those who book are sent detailed information about the show with photos, and are invited to a familiarisation meeting in the theatre itself.
