Thousands of people are due to take to the streets to have their say on September 21 ahead of a major summit on climate change. Marches will take place in more than 100 towns and cities all over the world, demanding 'Action, Not Words' on climate change in an effort to build an economy that works for both people and the planet. The London march will involve guest speakers, marching bands and carnival outfits alongside various different 'blocs' – groups which are focusing their campaign on one cause in particular. The Fossil Free bloc will set off from King's College London with a giant inflatable carbon bubble.
