The 2km route makes this fundraiser for Richard House children's hospice seem a little like a cheat's charity gig, until you realise that all of the participants will be dressed in penguin suits, and the course will be completed in a waddle. The event holds the Guinness World record for the most people dressed as penguins gathered in one place, and they'd like your help in defending their title. The £25 registration fee includes a penguin suit, with children aged ten and under waddling for free (though they'll have to provide their own costume). Details of how to register are on the Richard House website.
