Peckham Conker Championships

Conkers isn’t just for kids, as Peckham Conker Club prove every year. The group takes the playground favourite very seriously, including at their annual Conker Championships. Held under the arches of Peckham Rye Train Station, hordes of people show up to try their hand at being named the champion of the game in the ‘Battle Royale’ style tournament. Anything goes here, including ‘nut-pimping’ and ‘stampsies’ (you can brush up on the rules here!), with the winner taking home a coveted Golden Nut.
