Known as Pamela, UCL's Pedestrian Accessibility and Movement Environment Laboratory is located on an industrial estate in N19 – far away from the main UCL campus. The lab – which specialises in research based on recreating public transport scenarios and testing mobility and accessibility – is opening its doors to the public to showcase its work. Visitors can have a go in a wheelchair, experience reduced vision and tackle a mobility obstacle course. For free registration, see pamelaopenday.eventbrite.co.uk.
