For part of Kew Gardens’ orchid festival, head to the tropical Princess of Wales conservatory after dark and sip on cocktails and snack on traditional Malagasy dishes. You’ll also be able to watch Malagasy band the Boriza Brothers, and their joyful traditional music, plus a cooking demo to show you the taste of Madagascar, and hear experts talk about the gorgeous blooms – all of these are included in your entry. The theme of this year’s festival is all things Madagascar, if you hadn’t guessed, so keep an eye on the website for more details about the itinerary.
