Time Out says

Opened in May 1939, this 1.5acre garden is the second largest roof garden in Europe. There are three themed areas: the Spanish Garden, Tudor Courtyard and English Woodland Garden. The Spanish Garden is currently planted in the style of the 1950s, while the Tudor Garden planting is inspired by the Biba look (the building was once home to the iconic shop) and planting from the 1970s. The English Woodland, which contains trees from the original planting, is managed as a twenty-first century environmental and wildlife garden. Among the exotic wildfowl that make their home here are four flamingos. For Open Garden Squares Weekend, the garden – plus a champagne bar – will be open on Sunday morning from 8am till 11am.
