On Eagle's Wings: British Adventure Comics 1950-1969

A display about The Eagle comic, which, larger and more colourful than its competitors, became an instant hit when it first appeared in newsagents in April 1950. On show are copies of The Eagle and other adventure comics from the collection, following the exploits of Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future and others.
