Not Just Tea at The Ritz

With Wes Anderson's 'Grand Budapest Hotel' fresh from Oscar success Trails of the City have uncovered some unusual stories about London's own finest hotels. Which hotel was founded by two embezzlers? Which became a refuge for deposed European monarchs? And which claimed to be bomb, earthquake and fireproof? The walk will begin outside Green Park tube at the Stratton Street (north) exit and weave its way through the streets of Mayfair, ending with drinks in the Shepherd’s Market area (sadly, tea at the Ritz is not part of the deal).
