Israeli-born graphic illustrator Noma Bar Expect creates striking socio-political ‘double-take’ images, such as a sniper with a love heart concealed in the design, or a gun in the shape of a dove. Alongside his Rook & Raven Gallery exhibition (Nov 22 -Dec 21 ), he will give two talks/demonstrations of his idiosyncratic ‘Cut It Out’ machine – an industrial die-cutting machine built to look like a dog eating a cat eating a mouse that he uses to create his negative space images.
