Dr Meir Schneider was born with cataracts and other vision defects. Once certified blind, he taught himself to see, using a type of yoga for the eyes known as the Bates Method and techniques. On this walk around London’s South Bank, he demonstrates exercises such as ‘scanning’ and ‘zooming’, teaching participants how to relax their eyes after overuse of computers. The meeting point is by the yellow spiral staircase, near the Royal Festival Hall, SE1 8XX. For more information see www.self-healing.org .
