Time Out says

London's second annual Night with Philosophers should get synapses firing all over the place, with 70 philosophers from Europe taking part in more than 100 events across the Institut français, ranging from discussions to performances, lectures to films, and live readings to recitals. It begins at 7pm, ends at 7am, features free coffee all night and free wine between 1am and 2am, and all events are drop-in ones so that visitors can wander at will to hear and see lectures in the cinema, piano improvisations in the listed library, groundbreaking performances in the Salons, and live broadcasts of panels taking place in Paris. Topics are equally diverse, covering such big themes as 'The Meaning of Existence', 'What Makes a Representation Erotic' and 'How to Tame a Zombie'. For the full programme, visit the website.
