An evening of talks, performances and demonstrations showcasing some unexpected links between music and health. Participating doctors, researchers and musicians will be joined on the night by the Orchestra of St John's, which holds musical therapy sessions with autistic children. Learn about the physiology of beatboxing, see how the pressure of performing impacts on the body and hear about research carried out by the Royal College of Music into the effects of music in hospitals. Tickets are free but places must be booked.
