Native American artist Edgar Heap of Birds occupies the National Portrait Gallery for Museums at Night, asking the question: How do we see each other? This artist-led, participatory event – a response to the gallery’s current exhibition ‘George Catlin: American Indian Portraits’ – includes live music, spoken word, a philosophy salon, and a screening of the artist’s 2007 film ‘Most Serene Republics’.
