Time Out says

Just when you thought the capital couldn't get any more Christmassy, London's first mulled wine festival fills Covent Garden with the comforting smell of spiced booze. The event's been organised by Yelp so you'll be required to check into their app to enter (or donate £10 to charity), but once you're in there'll be mulled everything: cider, mead, ice cream, sweets, jelly shots and a LOT of wine. LIC will be unveiling the first ever mulled wine ice pop, and food traders getting involved will include Battersea Pie, MEATMarket and Heddon Street Kitchen. Live music will entertain the crowds, including acapella pop covers by After Party from 6pm each day. The Covent Garden Christmas lights switch-on will take place on November 12, for which there's talk of snow...
